Service

We believe as a church that we are called to serve God by working to improve the lives of others. Our Session and Membership serve the church and community through various committees.

Worship Committee

This committee selects hymns, organizes children's sermons, and plans worship in cooperation with the minister.

Education Committee

This committee organizes the Sunday School program as well as nursery, Children's Church, Kids Club, Vacation Bible School, and other youth programs.

Member Care

This committee plans several fellowship opportunities throughout the year including potlucks, picnics, receptions, and other special events.

Mission and Evangelism Committee

This committee sponsors the STAIR Program and the Post Clinic. Our congregation also helps support, local, national and international missions. Locally we support a variety of mission opportunities including M & M Food Pantry, Heifer Project, Mt. Sterling Kids Camp, and Special Olympics.

Resource Committee

This committee is responsible for the hiring and overseeing of employees, repairs and maintenance of all church property, preparing the budget, and overseeing financial matters.

Endowment Committee

This committee is responsible for overseeing all endowment funds.
